I'm a Journalist + Graphic Designer + Illustrator
You can call me Ira
I grew up in Venezuela, and by the time I was 6 years old, I loved drawing and writing stories.
I was 11 when I first started taking English classes, and when I turned 17, I applied for an exchange student program in the United States for my senior year of High School.
After graduating, I came back to Venezuela and studied Social Communication. In the meantime, I had a radio show, worked as a freelance Photographer and would doodle on every piece of paper I had in hand.
I moved to Spain in 2010 to pursue my dream of becoming a Journalist, got my degree at the University of Seville and had a few journalism related jobs.
One thing led to another, and next thing I know, I’m working as a freelance Graphic Designer for clients around the world.
Now I co-own a Creative Agency called Blooming, in which I design and illustrate in three different languages for living. Yes, I love my job.
I also founded a brand of handmade goods called VIVA to help bolster different causes, such as women’s empowerment.
For commissions, illustrations on demand or just to say hi, write me an e-mail or find me on social media as @irannis.
